Did some Trout Jigs

Somewhere on this forum, is a description of a jig pattern that's good for Trout. I finally got around to tying some up.

Jigs on the left are 1/32. Jigs on the right are 1/80. Tail is grey squirrel, body is yellow/black varigated chenille. The original pattern called for white/black varigated chenille. This is as close as I can get.

Put you on some red hackle instead of the squirrel tail and you have one heck of a good bream/bluegill/redear/whateveryoucallthem catching jig! I tie a McGuinty fly for the fly rod for perch and they sure are fun to catch them on.
