X2 What Fatman Said ... It is really a pain ... I called Norton I got so frustrated with it. If you have AOL it is a pain to get out as well ... buried deep.

Thanks guys . Fatman got me most of the way with the tool he sent . The last thing I wound up doing was I had to turn off the windows firewall before the installation would complete . Then the antivirus turned it back on after the install . So many thanks to all . I'm back to reaking havock in everyones life now . LOL!!!!

Glad you got it all straight!

I DO NOT like Norton OR McAfee. Have had issues with them both in the past. We now use WebRoot here at work and have never had a problem for the 3 years we have been using it.

I use the Free AVG and haven't had any problems. I also run the Advanced System Care free version and it will clean and straighten up alot of stuff.

Toad - as long as you have some virus protection. Back when Norton first started their uninstall took out everything, but not now. Most don't change the Security Center tab taking norton out and clicking to show the new anti-virus.

RT said "with CCLeaner for maintenance I stay pretty clean"

XX2 on that .. cleared problems that Cox top layer of tech support could not fix.
