Ain't lost the touch. I got to quit fooling around with plastic and get back to jigs myself.

Nice clean looking jigs. Red head/white tail has caught nearly every species of fish i chase at one time or another. It is one of my fall backs when all else fails.

Those will work for sure, really like the eyes. That was a nice touch. I'm thinking of buying another dart mold, pour a bunch and then send it off and have it pinned for 2-3 mm eyes. A project for next year.

Those are cool. Does the FisHair have good action? Curious if the heads could be pinched with smooth pliers for adding 3D eyes. Might be too round for it to work. I'm gonna have to pay Zeiners a visit and get this mold.... again!

FisHair has good action ... Don't think Pinching with pliers will work .. Modify the mold would be the best way.

Thanx All for kind words .

"Revisiting this post, how did those dart jigs work, JSC ? "

I have used Dart Head Jigs off and on since back in the 60's and these were just added to the collection.
Incidently these were made with a Custom Ament Mold .. Have a couple or more with and with out stems .. have had good luck useing plastic tails with them both Fresh & Salt Water ... Have caught a lot of Spanish with Nylon Tails with or with out a little Mylar.

Just thought I would add this to the thread.
These molds all came from the 60's.

A Aments stock Cast Mold 1/8 oz (first one purchased)

B - C 1/8 ox custom "Preseed" Molds with different collars.

D 1/4 oz will take several different hooks.

E 1/4 oz uses a specific hook

Yup, I like the heavy hook forward eye config. And the precision center posted hook eye slots.

I'd guess you used darts successfully for macks, trout, & maybe pompano? Any memorable surprises?

"Any memorable surprises?"

Not really ... by the way the 1/8 I have used for crappie.

Some of the 1st I tied were with Silver Mylar ... Worked great.
