Pulled out my bags of Hairline assorted pieces and started cutting cross-cuts today. Took two old c-clamps and my clear board put the edge of the hide piece under it and clamped it down. Stretched and cut up towards the table, any little hard spots pressed a bit harder.

Ended up doing 17 colors

You are set for a while. Wide color selection. Gotta love the grab bags on sale! You got some nice big chunks too. Sure wish they would throw some black scraps in bags...... would by those in a heartbeat. Wonder why the never have black scrap.........? Guessing i have bought 3 bags of them now and looked through everything they have and don't think i have ever seen black.

Have one bag that has a decent size piece of black and dark brown in it but that's the only pieces of those. I always look when I get them to check colors. Might be just as cheap to get a whole skin cross-cut from J.Stockard or whoever else sells them that way.

Oh, i use the other colors. Just go through a lot of black and dark purple........ should get a full skin of those colors and save some money.
