I've been wanting to try the duck feathers for awhile and now that I finally got some feathers I've been at it every single moment I'm on the bench but I took a break to add in a rabbit jig that I haven't done in a long time. The rabbit jig is a 1/16oz walleye head with a #4 hook, I used black barred green and blue rabbit for the tail, black tipped olive rabbit for the body and a bit of orange frosted black rabbit tied on top for some contrast. The duck jig is a 1/48oz minnow head with a #6 hook, I tied in 1 duck feather according to JungleJim1's instruction on the flash duck jigs (thanks JJ1), I then tied in some ghost pearl flash and then when that was done it looked like it was missing something being just a plain thread neck so I extended it to make somewhat of a hard body that made the profile more "fishlike" . The ghost pearl flash is awesome, it doesn't show up well on pictures because it is very subtle but in the water when sunlight hits it you get a very distinct flash and that is what draws fish to strike!!
