Between holidays and crappy weather can't get out fishing. So I decided to paint up a few. Inspiration was new shipment of eyes from lifefly.
some will be dressed others will be left bare for live bait or berkley gulp pieces. Those brownish looking ones on bottom aren't really brown. I call them tomato soupers. As color remind me of the old standby Cambells tomato soup. Eye colors I got were Iri. red , solid whites and solid blacks.
Ice fishing if any is going to be awful short this year. That's why I never " winterize " my boat. I just keep it as ready as I can regardless of weather. This year have been out a few days was like fishing my own private lake. Would have went out night fishing Christmas eve. But frown from wife when mentioned prevented that excursion.
