Took a trip with my nine year old grandaughter,Luci last week which included camping and pond and river fishing. She had a great trip, loved everything except the outhouse. Started fishing the little pond a little ways down the trail from camp and she started with a pink/chartreuse shad dart because it's pink. After a few casts her cork goes under and the fight was on. I freak out a little bit because it's a big crappie for such a small pond. I start coaching her,she stops reeling and starts backing up the bank, slips on the steep bank and falls, losing the fish. My fault, BAD COACHING !!! She thinks she lost her only chance to catch a fish and is really upset with me but I talk her into trying again. She hooks another and I don't say a word, she brings in this nice crappie. New waterproof camera, couldn't figure it out so pics are blurry. At the river she whipped up on us grandpas and caught her first smallie, several rock bass, sunfish and even a couple chubs on her pink/chart shad dart. Didn't take pictures for some reason. She caught her limit of trout the next couple of days, picture is of the first one caught on a white hardbody. We had a great trip and she wants to do it again soon, only next time we have to sleep in a tent according to her. Sorry, pics are too big,I'm going to half to figure out how to downsize them. I'll try later.

Grand gal might be ready for a women's Pro circuit when that happens.

In Win XP, saved pics load in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. The second from the end on the right side icon below the image is "Close program for editing". In the new window, choose "Image" then "Stretch/Skew" and enter percentages to downsize vertical and horizontal evenly. Make sure you have the original image saved separately and only alter a copy. Might be an EZer way but this is how I do it.
