Isn't a sand bass the same thing as a white bass? I caught some of those recently at Grenada Lake in MS. I thought it was a striper at first. Someone told me it was a white bass and y'all call them sand bass in TX. They can surely tangle up some lines. When's the fish fry?

Yes sir, white bass is correct, and they are a lot of fun on light tackle IMO. My bride prefers to eat crappie, so the whites went back for someone else to catch.... Sunday after the egg hunt is the time for the feast. May add a few more to the pot between now and then. I hope that all have a great Easter weekend!

We're having an Easter fish fry ourselves. I'm gonna be frying around 100 filets while the kids are hunting eggs. Happy Easter everyone.
