Was a cool day, but a great day nonetheless. Went fishing over at Eagle Creek Reservoir this afternoon with Brian Waldman of Big Indiana Bass. I'd say we caught a lot of crappie. Too many to count, which is what any fisherman could hope for on the best of days.
Haven't been smiling much about my fishing lately. Today was a welcome exception!

Several were caught on these.
I have another jig that I tied from craft fur scraps that was very effective. Will post a materials list and photo soon.
Most fish were caught off of laydowns and brush at a variety of depths. Reeled the jigs in slowly and kept them in contact with bottom cover to catch the crappie.
Side-imaging sonar is awesome. :icon14:
