My buddy and I pull crankbaits a couple times a week at our local reservoir. We've even been experimenting with planer boards. They come in left and right planer boards and even have a "tattle flag" that springs up and down when you get a fish on. Here's some pics from yesterday's outing.

These crappie came from Okatibbee reservoir, in east central MS. The largest crappie I've seen come out of the "Big Four" reservoirs in north MS. From north to south you have Arkabutla, Sardis, Enid, and Grenada. Hunter7711 and I will be fishing those for a week later this month.

Hope you and Mr. G put a hurtin' on some slabs while he's there. (Watch your pole, when he's around):target:

Nice job again! Has the ole ironing board got a make over?

Same ol' ironing board, she's seen her share of crappie. Lol

Adam, I'm gonna see that Mr. G has a great time. I'll be fishing the Magnolia Crappie Club championship tourney the weekend before Hunter flies down. Then we'll be at the MS C.com Fruitjar Championship tourney at Grenada the day after he arrives. I've got us a cabin rented for 5 nights up there in slab country.

Thanks Crappiemike and Noel. The biggest experiment was figuring out how to get my line out and put the planer board on without tangling the 6 lines I already had off the back of the boat. It can get interesting sometimes. Lol
