There called Float-n-Fly jigs. Pretty cool set up! Works during these cold days we're having right now. Now, I believe you suspend your jig about 13 ft. below a bobber. You let the bobber do the work. Looks like a listing bait fish.
Sorry didn't mean to be the know it all. My boss told me about this a few years back. There were some 9 ft. spinning rods come through my glue line at work to have the handles glued on and I had asked if the rods were setup wrong, because the rods are fly rods made into spinning rods. Really, really cool! Had me intrigued from the get go!

Yes have one for the float and fly.We have smallmouth in our lakes and they suspend off the bluff walls. These work great. also work for crappie and bream.Thanks for the info.

Those are hot down south..........Started to be used more in IL but under wraps. Easy tie and the crappies crush them. Great looking colors
