Did a little work recently with my new clear powder (Thanks Rad), some craft store glitter, matte black powder and a few jig heads.
Came up with a red glitter and gloss black powder mixture for "black neon" jig heads. Also added black, red, lavender, and white glitter to clear powder to achieve a "cotton candy" (CC) color for unpainted jig heads. The white glitter has a greenish-blue shine that makes for a good CC additive.
Have to admit that each of the glitters looks best before the final cure. They lose quite a bit of shine when baked at 400 degrees for 15 minutes (per Harbor Freight PP directions). Most of the white glitter is virtually unnoticeable.
However, the clear mixed with the matte black PP does make a darn nice semi-gloss black.
