Derek over at Rosey's asked me if I had any idea how many jig painter's/tier's made purchases during their Spring sale. I told him I had posted notice of the sale on 3 different boards and I figured thousands of people saw the posts and that I'd see if I could come up with a # for him. Rosey's has just recently discovered and are attempting to break into the jig & lure powder painting market and that they are looking into carrying some "Glow in the Dark", Glitter and more Neon colors. So, PM me or reply here please even if you didn't make a purchase but went to the site and looked around, please let me know so I can pass it along to them. Thanks in advance.

I went to the site and looked at their paints. I didn't purchase anything, mainly because I just didn't need such a large quantity.

I bought some. Wish I coulda got the other sold out neon colors. BUT only reason I bought was because of the sale!! I wouldn't pay $24 a lb for some if the neon colors. Can get it cheaper than that at CSI.

I looked but didn't buy. If they were to package it in smaller amounts and sell it at a price comparable to the others I probably would buy from them.

I looked but by the time I found out about it they had already sold out on many of the colors I was looking at.
My only concern with them targeting jig painter/lure makers is that the quantity or size of container will go down and the price will go up. Just my 2 cents.:dodgy:
Although I am referring to the sale price.

I went and looked (but I've been on their site before). With all the new stuff I had decided I'd play with that first before ordering more.

Columbia Coatings has tried to break into the jig making area and even though they offer 2 oz jars etc. it's not much cheaper than ProTec although they have lots of colors.

X2 with goodtimes on quantity/size/price

I bought some of course. I didn't need pounds of paint, but I wanted to start messing around with clear coat and the prices were too good to pass up.

I think if they hadn't been sold out on the neon/candy sampler packs before the sale became widely known a lot more people would have bit.

Went there and looked around. Great prices if a few guys got together an order to share. Too bad the sought after stuff went so fast without a "Rain Check Offer".

I've been there several times I usually buy by the pound When I do big lures in qty of a hundred or more . My main colors are Chart , wht , florescent yellow on big slabs and jigs 3 oz and up . I haven't purchased from them yet because the lures I;m doing now take vinyl paint .

Like I said on the other forum... I looked, but didn't buy... If they would be in smaller quantities... I would probably shop there.

I'm doing this on 3 forum's so I can submit to them that there is definitely a market in the fishing community and they may want to look into making available smaller container quantities, especially in the basic, glow, neon, florescent & candy colors. Might turn into an outlet where we could get 2-4oz container's at a comparable price to TJ's or CA's or where ever.

If he really wants to break into the market give him this suggestion!! (I sent this to Columbia Coatings but didn't get a reply back)

Have him offer 10 colors (we pick) in 4 oz. quantities for $25-$30 bucks!!!! I would think he'd get alot of business!!!!!!!!!! Personnally I wouldn't include clear in this as it's better to buy it by the pound!!

I looked and the main thing that interested me was the sold out sampler they had. I tried several times to order it but it was sold out every time. I think the smaller variety packs would be a hit. Other than clear,I'm not interested in pounds of powder paint although I've bought a few colors by the pound.

I looked but they were out of what I was interested in. The small variety packs would be great to see them add. I have added them to my bookmark and I did sign up for the e-mail offers. I think that was on their site?LOL
