Just wanted to share this . March 12 & 13 look to the west at sunset by the cresent moon at about 1.5 to 2.5 deg above the horizen and you may catch a glimps of this comet . Binoc's or a small telescope will enhance the view .

Nothing but clouds last night for me..... snow today but will look for it tonight and hopefully the clouds will clear out. My son has a decent little telescope. I can remember seeing Halley's Comet, but that one won't be back around for awhile. Sounds like this one does not come back around.

Clear blue here finally !!!! Got the camera ready , all I need is a 2 second exposeure window and I got a picture !?!? Cloudy snowy yesterday . Got another one that will be passing through on the 28th of November 2013 it will be a huge event . Will be able to see it in broad daylight with a full spectrum tail . It will be in the negative 6-9 magnitude /wich is brighter than the full moon .

Anyone see it?

Were some clouds just before sunset and they cleared off right at sundown.... but still couldn't find it. Didn't know if i was just looking in the wrong place OR if it is just harder to see from my location. The moon is much higher in the sky at sundown than in their illustration also - as the phase goes on it will only get higher.

Seen it briefly !!! It was directly below the cresent moon , which made it difficult to see , due to the light from the moon . No picture . It will get brighter and elevate above the moon to the north , making it much easier to target and spot . It will be like Hail-Bop which occured in the early 90's .

Just to let the ones who want to try to see it . Step out about a hour after sunset , look west pretty easy to spot now . It will be the star with a curved tail moving at a very hi-rate of speed ( Couldn't help it , had to ) CJ
