My tying bench is completely clear. (Have no idea where all that stuff came from.)

Getting ready to put a fresh coat of paint on and wonder what would be the best color.
Currently is a splotched kelly green, it works reasonably well but I am wondering if something darker or lighter wouuld be better. Any thoughts?

My two benches are a tan color. I use a large white card stock in my 'work' area which reflects some light and is a nice background color when Im stacking hair.

Out here...
Lighter colors reflect light, and darker colors absorb light... The rest would depend on what makes you happy!

Too neat Jay!
Any progress kd?
I'm using matt white counter tops with splash guards. Have some benches that have black lab tops.

I like a blue top, easy on the eyes but white does work best. I found a cutting board at Wally World and cut it to fit my space.

Thoughts are its a tying bench. Keep it simple & tie. No paint.

Some times at Habitat For Humanity you can find shatter proof glass pains clear or smoke and sometime old glass tv shelves are heavy duty . . Got a big ole artist pad I pull a sheet and lay under them for light refraction . Easy to clean paint off of as well as ease of sliding split rings , hooks and stuff while counting . Not so fun with beads LOL .
