I have spent the last several hours looking a jig pics and marking down color combos. Thought I should share if for no other reason than to save someone the time and effort.

Thought about it, but these are all crappie jigs from another website. Not a whole lot of creativity there but a whole lot of Jig Pictures.

Tell ya what..... I fish with about a dozen "staple" color combos. Top ones for me:

Chartreuse/pink/chartreuse
Black/black/orange
Pink/black/blue
Pink/blue/white
A small buggy looking jig.... either black/brim buster/gadwall with copper flash, or all black with bunny for tail tied pretty short and full
Thread neck duck jigs: pink head and thread with mallard flank and silver holo flash, and black/chart/orange head with orange thread and gadwall flank (no flash)

I know it is fun to tie a ton of combos.... I've got odds and ends in every box, but those listed above I never leave home without.

Better reading now Thanks for taking the time to post them and I'm sure they will come in handy for some tyers. I'm about like QKid as I have around 5 colors I always use myself but I fish a lot of different lakes and the colors do change from lake to lake so I have many color combos to cover the 9 lakes I fish.

Was Bored this AM so did a quick analysis mostly looking to fill any voids in my supplies. So, I sorted and grouped the data (took some liberties and combined some shades of color into one group ie., maroon and ruby both went into red.

The list follows. Kinda interesting Eyes and Flash are on slightly less than half of the jigs I viewed. In case anyone is interested, I am still working or a suggested starting point for a newbie. What to buy to get started and I think this little exercise will provide some great info for that project. Who knows, I may get together with some vendors and try get a starter kit together that they can market. Anyhow, here ya go..................................................
