Got some heads from Ronny boy the other day and decided to do a couple up.Made a pair of 1/8 oz. Chubheads.Got red gills and all.Palmered a chartruse with some grey flash on the rear and a grey marabou on the front.

Here's a pair of Red and Whites,same 1/8 oz.Got a little breeze coming in the window.Nothing like a 5:00 am breeze in Pa.Never had them in July in Arizona,lol.

Those red-n-whites will attract many pickerel. The chartreuse and gray look good for any and everything.

Nice jigs AZ. :cool:

Thanks guys.I love the looks of palmered marabou.Once I start and see them I can't stop until I see how many feathers I am using,lol.Then I try to see where I am going to put them without messing the full feathers up,Ha.

I don't tie many freshwater jigs anymore.Few and far between.Since the saltwater started they are big and them little tiny freshwater jigs just look too tiny to me to work,lol.But,I know that they do.Thanks.

Salty I being a old Geezer know what you mean. But I was in the jewelry trade and most of our stuff is worked on under magnification. And that is the only way I tie crappie jigs any more is under a magnifying visor.

Sure wish there was a way to shrink a jig like tying in in a 1/0 and heating it so that it would shrink to 1/16 oz. and a # 6 hook. Now there is something that we could work on.LoLs Wonder if we could work on the process like blue jeans. Maybe a hot water wash???? That may shrink them right down!!!
