No truer words were ever spoken! When I was a kid I was really skinny and all my pants used to fall down and my underwear was forever showing, I didn't realize it back in the day but I started a trend that is now popular, it only took 40 years to catch on....On a serious note I've seen the color "Christmas Tree on soft plastics but I never saw a jig with the same color combos.

I made a few in 1/32, flame red head, kelly green chenille, and fl. yellow marabou. they caught crappie pretty good too, but I never fished stained water with it, and I think that is where it will shine.

Most contrast possible....... almost as good as black & white. Red & green are on opposite sides of the color spectrum. Pink & chart. are also on opposite ends. Purple & yellow too. ;)

Thanks for the close up of that Toad!!! I got a big package of chenille and rubber skirting material off one of my fly boards and it has a bunch of different greens, your pic will help me match it up.
