I heard that the Trout in the Lower Illinois River are hitting size 18 black Caddis flies. Decided to tie up some, in a few different sizes.
That's a size 20 in the vise.

And here's the small hatch (so far) that came off my bench. The two on the upper right are size 16, two bottom right are size 18, and the two on thee left are size 20.

I've got some dry fly hooks in size 22 and 26. I might take a stab at the 22's later today.
