Heath, we are in the same situation on my dads place in Arkansas. Never had them until this year! We are working on ways of getting them out.

They are EVERYWHERE in East Texas!!! I have caught 9 in my trap in the past year, and have shot 6. I hit one with my brand new truck about 2 years ago, causing 3,500$ worth of damage. truck was only about a month old..... I was P. O.'ed and went to war on them. I do like to eat them though, so it is another free form of protein for the family. I found a guy who cures the hams, and it is the best ham I have ever had.

Same here across the ocean. After many years without em, they suddenly appeared destroying my garden. Tubers, stems, vines, leaves, all gone. And anyplace with dirt got dug up for worms. Look the same here in HI, except they do their bizness mostly at night. Not an archer, and firearms and snares are illegal in so called residential areas.

Yeah they'd be tenderizing!!!!!!! Now your camera shot is showing all of them how many MORE aren't on camera!!!!!!! I've heard they really tear things up, our problem up here is deer and moose go through the yard at night to get across the road to the hill and woods on the other side.

But warned by the neighbor he's got bear tracks - needless to say when walking the dog at night the gun is with me!!!!!!!!

I was gonna, but found out only disabled persons can use one for hunting here. Anyone else possession is illegal in HI. Our son in CA got a 150# manual draw - I can't even cock it! I wonder if there are off-road wheel chairs?
