California City Pond 4-2-13

This is the pond I fish at our city park. I wish the size of the fish were bigger but it is five minutes from my house so I can't complain too much. It was a little windy and colder today. I didn't catch any crappie but the bass were Loving the wool and satin. None of them were too big but they are sure a good fight on my lil 4'6 microlite rod.

Nice Andy - Glad you got out!!!!!!!! I can't wait and the weather has turned colder again here. Supposed to warm up this weekend but the ice still isn't off the ponds enough to fish them.

Looks like a nice pond.I was gonna go to a small pond today but temps never made it above 30* and the wind iswhipping too.

Any close water to your home is a great place to fish even if the size of the fish are small. Good catch with the wool jig
