Bunny Minnow

Here is a minnow I did with rabbit for finicky smallmouth, it is a simple split tail 1/16oz minnow head painted shad gray with black back and it uses a size #2 sickle hook. I split a regular cut chinchilla rabbit strip and tied it in to form the tail and then wrapped the remainder forward to the head and tied off and finished the jig by whip finishing using hares ear dubbing to hide the thread.

I'm going to have to give the ol Rabbit strips a try. I'm a sucker for a good minnow pattern. Like a buddy of mine would say "Thosa jigs will catchadafish!! Garownteeeed!" :icon14:
