Got down to mid 50's here last night, the chill in the air got me thinking i need to organize my ice gear. :) It is funny, but i have been looking forward to ice season since....... i put it all away in March! I can't wait.

Salty - You might have to get yourself a shorty rod and an auger and and join the rest of us nut-jobs who freeze their a$$'s off and walk on water. I do not think there is any other kind of fishing that is more peaceful or gives you a feeling of accomplishment when you pull a fish up through that little hole while the ice is singing. It is nearly impossible to describe.

Still in the high 50's at night here.
Hey Russ, I sure would like to see a jig swap on ice jigs before the ice get's here. Here we seem to do well with the 1/32 to the 1/80 range. Must be some northern people out here that ice fish wanting to see what others use through the ice? :)
