I make my own 'medium' brown by mixing Harbor Freight Powder Paints. Mix their red, yellow, and matte black together in a 1:1:1 ratio (e.g. 1 tsp red, 1 tsp yellow, and 1 tsp matte back). Dip your jig(s) in this mixture and then heat to 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Edit: Changed cure time of 'thirty' to 15-20 minutes.

Thanks I'll give it a try.

Primary colors of Red and Green make brown...... correct???? To get a lighter 'mocha' brown, may need to add some white or pearl. Just GUESSING though. Take the other advice from the other members first.......... never actually tried to make brown since i have pumpkin brown already from ProTech.
