The marabou is from an old bag of craft feather I had for a while and the hackle is purple neck streamer cape. I was lucky to it with all the women putting them in there hair. When is that fad going to end? The women would go ape s**t if they knew what I had...He, He, He! The chenille is bugger chenille purple and black.

I really like the looks of your blue/purple flies, but the natural ones would be the better of the two imo. VERY NICE JOB!
FYI: FLY TYERS magazine reports that the fad is over and some beauty supply houses are wanting to sell the feathers back for the same price they purchased them for...lol. I guess the fly shops are getting the last laugh....

You'd think you would hate tying buggers by now but you keep cranking them out !!!!! Very nice!!! and I'm liken the purple too. Found a bunch on ebay that wasn't all that much let me see if I can find the store name for him.
