Been playing with this concept. How are you keeping the tie from pushing the bead up to the prop which would make the prop to tight against the lead head. Are you using a spacer. Was thinking a small piece of material for temp spacer. Thoughts?

Plate I had the same problem when I tied them. The guys told me to reduce the size of my tie off and leave more space. The blade when spinning shouldn't go towards the jig head so you should be okay there

After I tie off the chenille I keep wrapping and taper it down and tie it off. then I coat with top coat and a drop of super glue and slide the bead down to cover the thread. Anyone else secure the bead over the thread or is supposed to be free spinning as well?
