Well I finally went and did it. I can do about everything except crank baits. They just don't appeal for some reason. So I invested in a couple of new plastic molds injector ect. I'll be making 1.75 twitchy minnows and 2'' crappie craws. Them crappie are going to catch heck now.Any of you guys into making beetle spin wires in a big way. I'm gonna need some. If so maybe we can do some trading plastic for wire. Molds will be in in about a week.

I went to a "Borrow Pit" this AM ... a friend got us in ... suppose to be some big gills (know of 25 being stocked in that weigheted 1.5# each .... got there and the water was muddied up gran son caught 5 up to hand size on crickets .. my friend got a cat on crickets ... I had 2 hits on my spinner .. missed one and caught the other a good 1/2# gill on the "Craw" as in pix (that is Bears?) 1/16 th head with Spinner ... the "Craw" was Blue ... 1st time I have tried it .. one note I cut the long end off down to the body to try and avoid a lot of the "Nippers" and I had a little trouble with the claws wrapping on the hook ... using a #6 hook.
I will post a Pix later

I didn't get a bears craw. I went with a different craw . Wrong craw in the pic. I will get Bears craw eventually. I'll get the craw pic up soon as I can.

Both baits look good, the 2 inch craw might make a good trailer on a bass jig.

On a small spinner bait mite work as trailer but this thing is small .. I think it will be tops on just a plain jig head with a #4 Hook (a #2 mite not over power it):)

They worked great . I did however snip off that pointy nose so as to fit a jig head or minnow head better . Put a beetle spin on it .

Thanks snake , I'll try to get some more pics up soon . But I'll need to clean up the shop first Usually work on 4 or five projects at once . I jam everything I can into a shop session because of so little time . Most of the molds I have are about the same stuff you, Ron and the guys do .
