Had to pay my buddy back for all the spinners I've been borrowing from him for fishing salt, so got busy with some silicon, flashaboo, jigs, and safety pin style spinners.

So Cal I.E.
Excellent baits. Read something awhile back about people slinging spinners in South Bay for Calicos...

Thx everyone.

Hawn - we tried them for about 5 min in fresh then went back to the bait the smallies were hitting every other cast. Hard to experiment when you have sucess. The ones in the pix are 1/16 oz on a #2 Matzuo black nickle hook and 1/8 oz on a #1 Matzuo black nickle hook. I did throw the black jig w/ blue eye & no spinner with a soft plastic grub that worked well.

Allen - thought about it for a brief moment, then figured unpainted blades work. Maybe in the winter when I have more time?

Led - we use to throw inlines fishing from tubes down around the rocks in Laguna for a variety of fish. I'm sure these'll work too.
