I got a lot of turkey tails so thought I would use turkey tail and tie up some nymphs. This one is a size 12 nymph hook and I'm going to tie some 14's and 16's also. Used a 3/32 copper bead, size 32 copper wire for the ribbing and the dubbing is caddis life cycle/antron mix & orange 70d thread.

Thanks guys. Doc I have tied a size 22 and it isn't something I enjoyed. Now size 16 is as small as I tie. I have to use 2.75 reading glasses to tie anything 12 or smaller as my regular bi-focals are not strong enough.

Nice bead head nymph!!!!!!! On the next ones instead of putting the fibers at the angle on top, roll them back under the hook like a beard, they'll flair on the retreive

Thanks for the nice commits everyone. It's enjoyable setting at the vice tying :) It's amazing how you can catch trout on a small hook the size you really can't see to tie on the line.. Most times I'm using a size 12 or 14 but I have 50 or 60 flies tied in the "small" sizes :D LOL!
