Think these will be the final option on my drop shot flies. Used a bead to take place of head. The hole in bead helps hold the cut shank to the jig hooks shaft. Sealed bead and thread in clear cure goo. Then finalized with nail polish.

Used duck feathers on some and angora goat wool on others. The perchy looking one I used barred marabou..

Are the beads plastic, metal or glass? Just wondering how they are weighted, and if so, to what extent.
Nice ties, thanks for posting….Mac

Beads are plastic. I don't need any weight on these. They are going to be used in a modified drop shot rig. The sinker on the bottom of rig or regular jig would provide the weight.

If you look close the extra hook eye provides a leg to drop a line thru so jig will always be parallel with bottom.

Hey you could hang a kicker blade of the leg drop . Might just be pretty wicked that way . Provide a little tipping weight too.
