Balsa Baitfish Fly

I was going through a box of my msc woodworking projects and found this lil gem. I originally carved it to make a big Grasshopper fly/plug but I messed it up when i glued it on the hook (hints the hump on the belly) and just threw it in the box. Anyway decided to paint and tie it as a baitfish fly.

Toss that thing in bet'cha bust 'a bass . That hump might just be the ticket if it makes it shot different directions when you twitch it . Slick job on the paint .

on first look I thought the bump was a wieght to keep it upright. kind of like a keel weight. looks cool though

That should catch a bass or two, might have a unique action that will drive them crazy. You just have to put it in water and see what happens.
