Occasionally I do some hand pours I've tried about every method around. Some of those durn bass baits have more curves and hard to get at places than a football cheer leader. Finally I came up with this. Its just a wood box lined with tin foil a light and a flip switch. On top is a piece of hi temp , hi impact glass I siliconed on. It helps see the edges of the bait. The bait dosen't slide around and I bleed less from exacto cuts. The flip side is a kid can use it to do tracings leaving you alone long enough to figure out how to buy one more piece of tackle.

Shortly after I did that I went total injection . But I still do hand pours for large baits . As a cutter tool I use a weller hot knife / wood burning tool .

Good God no way. I'm the most unorganized person alive . It looks like a hand grenade went off in there most of the time . Crap strung from a-to-izard . That's the truth .

Man o man sounds like you and I have the same filing system in our shops. I have so many projects going on at any one time that there are a lot that don't get finished. Many get scraped and made in to something else. and some that actually do get done.
Thats the good part about being eccentric. My shop has been know to scary small children, old ladies, and those weak of heart.
