Bags for packaging jigs

I've about depleted my supply of small bags for jigs. Last ones were 1-1/2x2 and a bit tight but a very neat pack and I also had some 2x2. However, I am getting ready to restock and am really considering a 2x3 bag to simplify packaging.

My Big question is mil thickness. pretty sure the bags I have are 2 mil and I remember how much my warehouse people hated them so thinking about going to the 4 mil bags, Does anyone have any advice or suggestions about which direction to take?

I like the 2x3s for general purpose. Mil thickness isn't important to me - but for retail, like JW, I would go 4mil.

I wouldn't worry about thickness unless I sold retail. In that situation, you might be in fear of lawsuits for point pricks and the turmoil a lawyer could cause you.

Though, it could happen with anything and anywhere I suppose... :dodgy:

I buy whatever they have in stock @ the local craft shop (Michaels?)

But if I was commercial, it would be the thick bags and would have multiple sizes since I pour & tie from 1/32nd up to 1 oz jigs.

I gave up on the craft stores as I can buy a thousand on ebay for less than 200 from craft stores

I really dont mind the thin bags for hand ties. Now jigheads should be 4mil minimum.

If you think these bags are expensive, you should see how expensive laminated bags for soft plastics are these days!

with MT.......still looking for a good 4mm bags

4mil are about 2x the price. You can watch auctions and get them for less sometimes.
