Someone has probably already thought to do this. If they have I missed it.

Being sold on Reds wool jigs and also a fan of the roadrunner type jigs. I noticed I had some Cabelas RR heads from a previous experiment that did not work out. So I tied some wool on the heads and essentially tooks Reds ideas and tied them on the ponies. Took off oversized Colorado blades and added a no1 willow to the smaller one and a no2 willow to the larger. Then to the test tank to see if it appears interesting.

These were tied with walleye in mind especially for when I am night fishing.
Pic of jigs was taken after tank test.

Couple little videos of them in tank.

Sorry about quality of pix , my old Sony finally broke :( and this was first time with it. Also sorry for Brother Glen Beck in background didn't know mike on the camera was that good.

White at night is right!

Judging by Boolie results, I think blade flash adds attraction to a jig.

I think your RRs are as good as it gets for a night wally lure.

Wool on a horsehead jig works very well, although I do let them sit in the sun to dry out. If you put on to much satin it can get tangled in the blade if to long.
