Life/work/family (wife/3 little kids) has kept me away from fishing and tying for a while, but things are slowly getting back to normal again. Time to start fishing (when there's time), and tying some trout and panfish jigs again. I never posted much, but always enjoyed reading here. I guess it's time to start contributing. I haven't been on this site or any web surfing really in a while, but reading here the past couple days has given me the itch to start tying again, something I haven't done in several months. So hopefully you all will welcome me back in :)

Normal is not working 60+ hours in a monday-friday work week. I do estimating for a grading/paving/concrete contractor and business is good again, but it means I have been putting a lot of hours in, especially the past 6-8 months. But the owner of the company is a great guy, a very family oriented, Christian man. He didn't really know how many hours I was putting in (I'm salary, never would tell anyone how late I stayed), and I guess part of me was too proud to ask for help/admit I couldn't do it by myself. He felt bad I was putting in so much time, and not being at home with my family. So we hired some takeoff help, and I have him trained where he's really taking some of load off now.
