Guess I should have made this my first post, but....

I've only been doing this for a little over 3 years. Before that, I didn't even know how to tie a knot. My Dad used to make saltwater tackle for about 8 years and sell to shops at the beach, then passed away. I took over to keep the label going not knowing anything, and spent many hours on the net doing research. And here I am now lol.

I'm a full time Printer, and make the tackle on the side. This looks like a really good place to hang out, and I hope to learn from you folks that have been doing it for a long time.

Here is some of my Striper/Flounder killers I use to longline or drift down the current, with hopes the Blues don't chomp them up.

Very nice.Make something that looks like a "Spearing".I have the best luck with white with a grey stripe,or olive stripe down the center with some flash.Out of the teasers, that one is best.

BLT is my initials. Well, it should be RLT I guess. Real name is Robert, but go by Bob. My Mom was the only one to call me Robert, and when she did, I knew I was in TROUBLE lol.

Salty, These here, and most of my teasers I make for me, are not a pattern of anything. I just look and grab, tye it up and catch fish lol. That's why I say fish are not as picky as fishermen.

I was at the craft store the other day looking at party supplies, and Christmas decorations for different things to use for flash...or whatever. I saw this decoration you hang from a doorway that had really reflective coating on one side of it. Pretty wide stuff, and stiff, may be good for the larger jigs. I plan on going out to buy it next trip ouy
