I've used it pretty extensively on some beater rigs of mine that I would loan to a friend or girlfriend during an outing. I've used 8 and 10#. Very tough stuff for sure. I could count on it to stand up to abuse. It's probably a little stiff to use for light jigging applications and has a little memory to it, but that also seems to make it pretty sensitive.

Thanks creeky - I bought a spool of Suffix Elite line and I really hate it!!!!!!!!! I know others like it but it's been nothing but a pain for me. I'll take an extra spool and wind it on and give it a try, I'll be using it with either a fixed or slip float and a jig. Hopefully it's not raining this weekend!!!!!!!!!

Doug its good stuff. Heavy duty for sure. I used it for ice fishing as it seems to be tuff and pliable. Have not used it down here as I bought a bunch of 8 lb. Spiderwire which is just the ticket in olive. That will do you a good job for work around weeds and rocks. It is their house brand of heavy duty Spiderwire, Try it you will like it .

That was a few years ago for me. I used it with a ice rod as I can remember it wasn't all that bad. We use to use vasilene on the guides to keep them from icing up. We did some crazy things to make things easier on us. Remember the Hot Seat??? Yep still have mine and the dang thing still works on a cold morning in the duck blind.
