Well, this all started very innocently, when my girlfriend gave me her old Missouri Plate that she did not want no more...so like a Good Missouri Mule, I promptly tacked it to my kitchen wall, where I could enjoy it...well, 65 plates later...and more in the garage...all I can say, It Has Been A Fun Hobby !!..
Trouble is when I have guests over..all they do is stare at my collection and completely ignore me..!!...:D

Holy Moley think that I will head to Australia with just the old license plates that are laying around the neighbor hood. I can pay for the trip and have a good time for just the selling of the plates. Maybe turn and burn and will have a enough to get my self a new vice and a bunch of material for jig tying. We use them as reflectors on the boat roads. $300 will buy a whole bunch of reflectors. I count 4 in my yard alone that I can use. Will start asking the neighbors if I can have their's.

Never seen a display INSIDE a house. I've got a few from the 50s hanging in our carport.

Some of the pictured plates look rather old? An aquaintance of mine dug one up from the 1920s here in HI and sold it for $1,000.

Hey LRB, noticed I have an extra 1959 plate. Its the year Hawaii became a state so the first plate with "Aloha State" on it, altho no date. Condition is a bit rough since all my plates are wild harvest from old wrecks and dumpsites. Yours if you want it.
