Eye went almost right over me if I saw the radar right. While prepared for the worst, I'd say my area came out as good as we could have. Still have power, and that was my worry. Looking at the beach areas where I go, there is a lot of work to do there! Family has a beach house in De., but a few miles away from the ocean/bay area. Have to drive down to see any rain/wind damage. I should say it's my Mom's place. Up for sale right now also, so I hope it's ok.

Looks like they are saying it will keep going west over pa., and people around the great lakes area will have issues.

Wind has been a steady 35mph+ for the past 2 days here and woke up to an inch of wet snow/slush on the ground this morning. Temps have barely gone up so most of the snow is sticking around for now. The few trees that still have leaves are really sagging over and not doubt a few of those will come down.

Below is a copy of the open water forecast for the Western Basin of Lake Erie, from the Toledo area over to Vermillion. Wonder if i could surf with my kayak?

When I used to surf long ago I read an article about Great Lakes surfing. Must be epic, and there just might be a few extreme athletes having a go. A kayak in 10+' frigid waves sounds out of control suicidal.

As much as they hyped how bad it was gonna get here we truthfully barely got anything. Places had 60 mph winds yet a mile down the road they had nothing.

7 miles north of me the power went out but I escaped, no water in the basement (That would have cut my pouring for a while), no power outage and I thank God we were lucky, 30 mph sustained winds with gusts up to 60 mph for 2 day and today it is calm, I hope everyone else is ok and now I don't hate the area I live so much, we seem to dodge some horrific weather events.
