Any new toys?

Did the fat man up North get anyone new toys for feeshing? Not that we actually have ice here but.......... got a 1-man flip style shanty for solo ice fishing. Spent most of the day sitting in it since i can't drag it out on any ice. Pictures show it folded down for transport, set up just as a wind break and fully flipped over. After drilling some holes, will take about 2 seconds to go from fully exposed on the ice to a shelter. Also got a Redneck Ice Chisel to replace my old rusty spudbar.

First Lite wool clothing.....not cheap but unreal. All about the wool winter fishing or deer hunting. Aran Sweather Market for the best wool socks were also a stocking stuffer.

Daughter, SIL and grand daughter just got here so tomorrow morning will be just us and then in the afternoon the whole clan will be here for exchange gifts so don't know yet!!

did our Xmas today - got 1000 #4 and #6 EC Lil Nasty Jig hooks, 3 colors of the Veniards Fly dye - insect Green, purple and Fl. red. The other fluorescent colors are on backorder. A $50 Cabelas Gift card. and a $30 Walmart Gift Card. bunch of clothes.

3rd year in a row getting a new mold from SIL. Told her it is a tradition now and expect a new mold every year...lol...wife got me another mold too. Also another spinning real, another ceramic bobbin, head cement bottle with needle tip, new mustad needle nose/split ring opener/crimper/cutter. I think that is all the fishing stuff, unless I consider the binoculars.

you'll love it. I got my Orvis safe passage Sling about 7 years ago. use it 50-60 times a year and it is still going strong.
