Want to get some new scissors that are sharp and will last . Looking at Anvil , are they good ?
Well, they're made in Indiana.
Though, I do not own a pair. I do like their offerings, particularly the thinning scissors.
I should mention that my favorite pair of "fine tip" curved cuticle scissors are Sally Hansen Soft Grips that I've used regularly for 8 years. However, I cut thread or yarn with them and nothing else. For thick hair cuts, I use a pair of larger Revlon curved nail scissors (I can feel each individual fiber being cut by the blades). Soon, I'll be cutting animal skins. So, I'm trying out a pair of Tim Holtz (by Tonic Studios) Scissors with a micro-serrated blade. I'd rather cut zonker strips with those than have to build my own razor blade apparatus to use.
Did I mention that I bought a bead reamer recently?
