For the record,,,,,,,,,,,,,no tractors needed,no mechanical failures of any kind ,,but as usual it wasnt without some drama..

2:10 min trip turned into a little over 3 with heavy fog most of the way...Dont see that much out here..But the morning started good.Pulled pork samwich for breakfast little before 7:00 :P

Get to the tank,,,boat has blown from the dock,,,not too far but there is one little obstacle to getting it retrieved,,,and he's not happy..
View attachment 3 He wasnt the least bit intimidated by anything we could do to him,and finally took the truck, and several attempts
to get access to "our" tank ..

Finally get serious and Whitey has 4 in the basket before I get my first short fish...Im sure hearing it from a man who hasnt out crappie fished me in more than 30 years. But it was his day....If we had a 10 inch bass tourney today I had him 35-2 but since we were, are, crappie fisherman,,I was humbled today....The only good from it was ALL his fish were on MY tie........And if he ever lost the few he had,it was going to get very expensive to get some more from my box. :D

16 dinner guests,,, 5 of which I Invited...

Only two minor glitches on this trip....Someone left the cooler with a couple of waters and several beers on my driveway,:@ and the new camera I've had all of three weeks now grazed the bottom of the boat and 4 drops of water and no longer has a display :argue:

Heck, you had me sold at the pulled pork breakfast! That does look like beautiful water - got to be some big fish tucked into the brush and reeds. Looks like all black crappie - assuming they were up in the shallows and tight to cover with that bright sun?

Afraid of a little calf........ i thought you were Texans - you handle that kinda stuff daily.

Try throwing your camera in a bag of rice? Everyone claims that works for phones and other electrical devices.
