Anyone notice how much Northland Fishings Thumper Crappie King lure looks like Rons minnow head!!! with a swivel??? and some of the paint jobs look familiar too!!

FM it's different. I've seen probably 15 variations of that head that is produced in China.

My ball heads look like a gazillion others, but of course they're better...than China mfg. anyway...I think.

Eh, I'm sure they're not copies. There are a lot of realistic looking minnow heads out there, and the colors are old standbys. They actually look more like the new style BPS stump thumpers, to the point I wonder if Northland is making them for BPS like Blakemore TTI used to make the RR style ones.

I have a couple of the thumpers and they're good lures, if a bit pricey. I've caught some nice trout on the naturalistic ones.

Went and looked at it and it does look good.
