Another new tie

Well I got through the brush tapping powder on the jigs and I found some ULTRA ULTRA chenille in one the last box's I was going through so tried a little experiment!!!!!! I can't weave chennille for cool looking bodies so I tried a somthing a little bit different and lthis was my tie

Looks like a cool chenille body. If it is not weaved...... how did you do it? Looks pretty similar to a weave (Tiger weave maybe?) i have seen somewhere.

Actually it worked better than I thought but all I did was take two different colors and tied in at the same time - took my hackle pliers and spun them together, the tough part was winding it on so the colors came out like a weave. I'm hoping that depending on how tight I twist it will change how it looks, we'll see!!!!!!!! This is gonna open up a whole new set of ideas for me!!!!!!

Doug Nicely Done. Your are getting crafty in your old age.Lols Really like your paint job I will have to work on mine to bring it up to your level. Something to work on.
