I double-dip when I use the candy colors unless I tap on the under-coat, like these, a tap of my Copperhead under the Candy Lime Green

Pepop Just the size I am looking for for the fall season. It only three months away to the time that I start the fall season. The crappies are starting to come back to the trees on Caddo and are out mostly in the deep water. When the middle of September comes around then they will start to come in to the river and start the winter feeding frenzy. The water will have to cold before that starts. With these hot East Texas days they are really warming up the water. In the 90's all this next week. HOT already this year.

I hear ya Red! Makes for a short post-spawn! That's my favorite time (next to Fall) for fast limits but I haven't even been yet. :@

That's MY kind of fishin there! I LOVE shootin them docks but around here, the best time to shoot the docks is early morning till around noon and when I was going every Friday, it was in the afternoon. Even that's over for the time being. I am supposed to get a few hours off next Saturday. I just hope I can remember how to find/catch some.
