Those are some big fat bream .... I got a box full to clean today, and only the cherrygills are that big.

I don't think that was a water snake.....looks like a Copperhead to me. Lost Pole, by any chance, right before or during the capture of that snake, did you smell cucumbers? I've heard Copperheads often have a cucumber smell associated with them.

The end results look great. Allen I have never smelled cucumber when around a copperhead, most times it is the smell of dodo from the one who almost stepped on it!

I've never seen a Copperhead in the wild. Only in cages. I'm afraid their camouflage is just to good for my eyes.
