Said I wldnt do it…
Told myself, no. Nope, Adam. You're becoming obsessive. So I sat with a couple heads to prove to myself I don't need one.

I showed Helianthus and told her I thought they could be better if I had an airbrush........
Lo and behold, she returns to the desk with a brand new one she had stashed away. Said she picked it up on a whim a bit back.
So NOW, I'm looking into it low budget style, in case she or I don't like it. Compressor? Paints? Any advice would be appreciated

Createx paints. Can get them at hobby lobby and other hobby stores. Hobby lobby has great coupons u can print. They're cheaper to buy online if you know what you want. It's best to heat set each color before moving to next color. I'm just using my compressor I use for air tools and nailers.

Nice Job.... you can use a bigger compressor like Ronny mentioned, just regulate it down to the 5 - 8 psi or whatever the airbrush requires.....

The compressors at hobby lobby are expennnnnnsive. Think cheapest I saw was $145. I have access to a 3 gallon compressor but not sure what else I'd need to reduce the fittings. Gotta take a closer look at it all.
Saw it Sonny, thx for fueling my want :-)
Thx for the help Ronny and Heath.

I have a compressor for a nail gun that was around a buck & a quarter at Home Cheapo.

Been thinking about getting a Pashche (??sp??) to play with as my b-day's comming up, but not sure if I can invest the time.

Adam u can find 40% off or more coupons online for hobby lobby. If you go with the compressor u have access to you'll just have to reduce it down to 1/4". I went from 3/4 to 1/4 on my setup. Your compressor will have a regulator so you'll be set on that but you do need to get a water catch/separator to put on the line in front of the air brush. Can find them on amazon pretty cheap.

I use a harbor freight air brush compressor that is frequently on sale for 49.95. Currently 89.99 but I did see the little 100psi oilless compressors for 55.00 in the current add,

Also, if you have a portable air tank you can fill it and use it for Airbrush,
