sorry for the absence, its been crazy around here. I also have been less interested in it after i put my video up because i got some rude critisicm. I really havent tied in a while, but im gonna work on that. i have to get my desk straightened up, and then i can get back to tying! thats something for a weekend though. I have been doing school stuff, so thats another reason. My birthday is in november, so ill be getting money, and thats either going towards pc parts, a vise, or airsoft guns. anyways just checking in!

Panfishhunter - If i remember right you asked for opinions, critique and advice on your video...... if you ask for it, you will get it. Don't think there was intent to be rude, but certainly an effort to help. I have tied flies/jigs for almost 25 years now and still make mistakes, then try to improve.

School comes first - then everything else. Glad to have you check in when you can.

Toadfrog just said some of the best advice i have ever read about these fishing forums. I would put it up in the banner at the top of every page.......... but no doubt some one would have a different opinion and take offense. ha!

I saw your video and thought it was quite good considering of what you used to do it and the amount of time you've been tying. I came here to tell you the one problem I saw, and that was the way you wrap your thread as most will wrap away from your body while you wrap toward your body but that was the only real problem and if it works for you then that is the way it is. There will always be someone with less talent wanting to put you down to make themselves feel better about being losers, remember that, jealousy and envy bring out the worst in people so take it with a grain of salt and remember the word of ToadFrog, his advise is spot on, a lot of PC bullies that would say nothing face to face. Keep on tyin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nick, you pay attention to these guy's here, they'll steer you straight. Although your video wasn't quite Spielberg quality, I thought it was really good for your 1st go. The thing is, STICK WITH IT!! Don't let anybody tell you "You Can't" or "You're not very good"! If you have a passion for something, GO FOR IT! and remember, School First, Family Second (only because I'm sure your family would say School First LOL) and everything else in the order you choose.

I didn't see the video but I'm sure any criticism wasn't meant to hurt your feelings, only to help you become a better tyer. I've been tying for awhile and I think I'm getting better with plenty of room for improvement. Keep tying and I know you will get better too. You might have taken it the wrong way.

Thanks guys! and Toadfrog, an airsoft gun is like a paintball gun, except it shoots 6mm plastic bbs. My birthday is November 18th. Thanks guys for the support. my room is undergoing some construction, so no tying for now, but i need to test the darn things soon.

I been tying a bit lately and organized my stash of jigs. i dont have room for many more, but i definitely will keep with it. ill post pictures tomorrow.
