A special treat today.

This morning at my local PO I had a very nice surprise.

Backing up a little about 4 months ago I was at the PO talking to the Post Master about fishing and tying flies, and making fishing baits in general. She ask me if I could make her a few baits for a family member. That he lives in Maine or New Hampshire, sorry I couldn't remember which. That she was going up there to visit soon and thought he would enjoy them.
So the following week I had tied up a few, made a few spinner baits and took them in. She insisted at the time that she wanted to pay me, but I said no that these were a gift and I hoped he would catch some fish with them

Then this morning I pop in to drop off a few packages and she said, hey wait I have something for you.
In she walks with this


She says that her family wanted me to have this, figuring I would know how to put it to good use.





I'm thinking I'm going to tie up some more for them, that they would enjoy having flies tied for a keepsake tied from the stuff in this box.

I just thought it was a really cool thing and that you guys here would enjoy hearing about.
