I took my wife and daughters, ages three and five, fishing to one of our local lakes today. Great afternoon and the fish were biting and we were having a wonderful time. Across the road about 200 yards away is the Chippewa River. We heard a person yelling for help and a couple people near to him run towards the river. I ran over aswell to see what was going on. A man with a van was parked atop the boat landing and turned off the engine and got out. He didn't put it in park.... He had 2 children in the van. The van then rolled into the river with the kids in it. We were able to eventually get them out as there was deep water and current. I was about to perform cpr when paramedics arrived. I don't know if the kids made it or not but am still sick to my stomach about it. I pray for them that they are ok. Please be careful and I hope nobody has to see what I did this afternoon. God bless.

That is crazy! Good thing there were enough people nearby to help. Found an article on a website about it all. Hope all the best for the children.
